Douglas Fast Network Uses Aperto Networks for
Transparent Ethernet over Wireless Milpitas, Calif. and Roseburg, Oregon, September 20, 2004 - Douglas Fast Net Network (DFN) of Oregon, a utility that has built carrier-class fiber and wireless networks throughout the mountainous terrain of Douglas County, Oregon, has standardized on Aperto Networks' PacketWave® 5 GHz point-to-multipoint systems for its business-grade wireless service delivery. DFN already serves approximately 500 active accounts over its IP network, and plans to continue robust growth along the Oregon Douglas County I-5 corridor.
