Job Description
Candidate will be responsible for board level hardware design of broadband modem including IF and baseband circuitry for use in wireless point to multipoint systems. Duties include definition of system specifications and performance testing as appropriate to the wireless environment. Solid understanding of digital and analog hardware design is a must. Responsibilities also include defining the manufacturing test requirements, performing system level simulation and analysis, directing the PCB layout, and system level design verification testing.

Required Skills/Experience
Candidate must have 5 years or more experience with board level design and test including BER and multipath testing. Must have solid understanding of digital modulation techniques including QPSK and MQAM, equalizer topologies and FEC techniques. Familiarity with wireless environment and communications simulation tools a plus. BSEE with MSEE preferred.
