| Job Description |
| Develop wireless embedded software for Aperto Networks broadband wireless network products. Participate in all and lead in some phases of software development cycles. Will be responsible for BSP development, modifications, enhancements for multiple
hardware platforms. Will work on 802.16 wireless MAC software development for WiMax products, both base station and subscriber units. Help architect next generation networking technology. Provide technical leadership in instituting development tools infrastructure and methodology for software engineering group. |

| Required Skills/Experience |
| 5-7 years direct experience in Embedded/MAC network protocol development. Must have direct experiences with ‘C’ programming language, real time operating system (vxworks preferred), Assembly, BSP and embedded system development required. Working knowledge of software/hardware partitioning expected. Experience working with Hardware and debugging independently is a must. Team player; strong written and oral communications skills; highly motivated to work in a fast-paced start-up environment. BSCS or BSEE required. |

| Desired Skills |
| Experience with wireless network protocol 802.11 or 802.16 are highly desired. PowerPc, MIPs, ARM processor experience highly desirable. Understanding of network switching, LAN, management protocols, and network protocols such as TCP/IP, IGMP, RIP, and OSPF an added benefit. MSCS or MSEE desired. |
