Job Description
Hands-on development engineer with experience in High Frequency radio design and development with mixed signal architecture. Will be responsible for developing hardware to support overall IEEE802.16 (WiMAX) Standards for both Fixed and mobile applications.
 
Required Skills/Experience
Experience in TDD/HFDD radios with mixed signal digital Up and Down conversion architectures. System level familiarity with QAM and OFDM modulations and knowledge of IEEE802.16 protocols desirable. Familiarity with EDA tools such as View Logic schematic capture, Cadence layout tools, Elanix System View, MWO, AWR Virtual System Simulator, or Matlab system analysis tools a strong plus. Candidate should be able to design PLL’s, amplifiers and other sub-systems to 6 GHz. Ability to create system performance models and analyze system performance and prototype test data during implementation will be critical. Ability to work and interact with engineers in Digital and software groups to implement an overall product design. Familiarity with digital and analog test equipment including BER/CNR test sets, multi-path emulators, spectrum analyzers and VSA’s in evaluation of conversion architectures and components very important.
