Reza Ahy - President & CEO
Dr. Reza Ahy is president, CEO and chairman of Aperto Networks. He is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the company. Prior to founding Aperto Networks, he held executive and senior technical management positions with Harris Corporation, Varian Research Center and RadioLAN, with a focus on businesses and products in broadband wireless and high-speed optical communications systems. Dr. Ahy earned his BSEE and MSEE from the University of California, San Diego and his Ph.D.EE from Stanford University.

Subir Varma - Vice President, Network Technology
Subir Varma is vice president of network technology for Aperto Networks. He is responsible for networking systems architecture of the company's fixed broadband wireless access systems. Prior to joining the founding team at Aperto Networks, Dr. Varma was director of systems architecture at Hybrid Networks where he was responsible for the first widely deployed MMDS broadband wireless system. He previously held technical leadership positions at LSI and IBM, and has been an active contributor to IEEE 802, ATM-Forum and DOCSIS. Dr. Varma earned his BTech from IIT Kanpur and MSEE and Ph.D.EE from the University of Maryland.

Alan Menezes - Vice President, Marketing
Alan Menezes is vice president of marketing for Aperto Networks. He is responsible for leading the company's worldwide marketing initiatives, including product management and corporate marketing. Prior to joining Aperto, Mr. Menezes was vice president of marketing at AccessLan Communications, a DSL solutions company. He also co-founded OnStream Networks, an innovator in broadband access solutions acquired by 3Com, where he created and led the marketing organization. Mr. Menezes also held leadership and executive positions in marketing and engineering at 3Com, DSC and Nortel. He holds a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Alberta, Canada.

Francois Le – Vice President, Sales & Business Development
Francois Le is vice president of sales and business development for Aperto Networks. He leads the worldwide sales force and customer support organization. Prior to joining Aperto, Mr. Le was director of product marketing and business development of WAN access products for 3Com. He led marketing and sales of ATM access solutions to US and international carriers at OnStream Networks, prior to its acquisition by 3Com. Previously, Mr. Le was vice president, International Sales with Multipoint Networks, and held executive sales positions at N.E.T. He holds both an engineering diploma from the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Lyon, France and a MBA from Stanford University.

Amir Ameri - Vice President, Operations & CFO
Amir Ameri is vice president of operations and CFO for Aperto Networks. He is responsible for manufacturing and quality assurance, as well as all finance, accounting and administration functions. Prior to joining Aperto Networks, Mr. Ameri was CFO and vice president of finance and administration at Resumix, an Internet software and services company. Prior to Resumix, he was chief financial officer at Magic Edge and has held senior management positions at Castle & Cooke, a billion dollar international consumer products company. He holds both a BA in economics and MBA in finance and management from Stanford University.

Sue Chan - Vice President, Human Resources
Sue Chan is vice president of human resources for Aperto Networks. She is responsible for administrative management, recruiting, retention, employee communications, compensation, and benefits programs. Prior to joining Aperto, Ms. Chan was vice president of human resources at AlphaBlox, a web based analytical applications software and services company. She has also served as vice president of human resources at Veritas Software, and has held HR management positions at Intel, Amdahl and Watkins-Johnson. She earned a BS in Sociology from Santa Clara University.
