| Responsibilities |
- Manage development and delivery of next release PacketMAX and PacketWave products, as well as customer adaptation/sustaining to those next release products (Main focus will be hardware development/sustaining)
- Creation and execution of implementation plan/s across the entire engineering team
- System definition through release to production, including successful completion of field trials
- Interface with Aperto cross functional groups as well as ODM/ODC partners
- Manage ODM partners by providing technical evaluation, product specifications, and technical lead interface

| Requirements |
- BSEE (Advanced degree desirable)
- 7+ years engineering project management experience. PMP certification is a plus
- Hands-on experience managing complex telecom/networking projects with software and hardware mix
- Extensive track record in delivering carrier class systems in the communication/networking space
- Demonstrable track record of on-time delivery based on committed project constraints
- Hardware design and development experience including high speed PCA, FPGA and electronic packaging is highly desirable
- Superior written and verbal communication skills; must be capable of documenting and communicating system design and specifications
- Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment
- Wireless and WiMAX related experience is a plus
