Aperto Networks Appoints Glenn Tamaru Vice President of Operation  

Milpitas, Calif., (October 17, 2005) – Aperto Networks, a leading WiMAX systems provider serving over 200 operators in 65 countries, announced today that it has appointed Glenn Tamaru as vice president of operations.  

Tamaru, who has 25 years of operations experience with several leading technology companies, including Ascend/Lucent, Bay Networks/Nortel and Solectron, was most recently vice president of operations at GoDigital Networks in Fremont, Calif.

Prior to joining GoDigital, Tamaru served as vice president of purchasing and supply chain management for Ascend/Lucent. While at Bay Networks/Nortel and Solectron, he developed partnerships with outsourced manufacturers to produce products in high volumes with superior quality.  

Earlier in his career, Tamaru held a variety of manufacturing management positions at Amdahl, Xerox and Qume.

Tamaru received both his BS in Finance and his MBA from California State University, Hayward.
