Aperto Networks Partners with Top Systems Integrators to Address Markets in Russia and All Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Countries

Milpitas, Calif. and Moscow Russia, (May 12, 2003) – Aperto Networks, leading provider of new generation scalable broadband wireless access systems, announced today it has built key channel and joint marketing partner relationships with three top systems integrators serving carriers and corporations in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). These include Avalcom Limited (part of Omniband Group), Dateline Communications, and Advanced Telecom Trade Group. Aperto and its partners will also host a press conference for all interested media at 16:30 on Monday, May 12, 2003. The press conference and a hosted lunch following the event will be located in Pavilion 1, Hall 1B.  

These leading integrators have successfully completed Aperto-powered network field tests in high and low-density population settings within Siberia and greater Moscow. Avalcom, a very well-respected systems integrator based in Moscow, serves both wireless and wireline carriers and their sophisticated commercial end-users. Dateline Communications has a broad geographic reach, data and wireless savvy engineers and a customer service organization to address several different critical vertical industries. Aperto Networks will ship regulatory agency-certified production systems to Aperto's CIS channel partners for delivery to carriers in May 2003.
