Job Description
Working in tandem with respective sales manager, will provide pre-sales system engineering support for African customers and partners
Develop technical proposals, submit bids and respond to Request for Information/Proposal
Develop and present customer presentations
Develop system acceptance test plans and perform system demonstration
Follow and influence regulatory activities in the region

Required Skills/Experience
5+ years experience in technical position with telecom or networking equipment vendor - experience in wireless is preferred
2+ years experience in similar SE position
Technical skills: Working knowledge of RF, IP networking and telecom networks
Must have strong written and verbal communications and presentation skills
Familiarity with Fixed Broadband Wireless Access systems preferred
Knowledge of telecommunication systems preferred
Must be customer-oriented, and able to interact at all levels of a customer or partner organization
Must be able to travel internationally
BS degree in a technical field
Prior experience and knowledge of the African telecom market preferred
Native English language skills required and fluent in French
