Job Description
Hands-on development engineer with experience in RF radio development with mixed signal and digital and analog baseband and IF board design . Experience in RF radio architectures with mixed signal digital upconversion and downconversion architectures. Able to develop and test board level RF devices and mixed signal conversion circuitry for interface between radio unit and digital baseband processor and integrate with RF circuitry. System level familiarity with QAM and OFDM modulations and knowledge of IEEE802.16 protocols desirable.

Familiarity with EDA tools such as Innoveda schematic capture, Cadence layout tools, Elanix System View, AWR Virtual System Simulator, or Matlab system analysis tools a strong plus. Candidate should also be able to design analog and digital filters using these tools. Ability to create system performance models and analyze system performance and prototype test data during implementation will be critical.

Ability to work with development engineers in hardware , RF, and software development areas to implement an overall product design.

Familiarity with digital and analog test equipment including BER/CNR test sets, multipath emulators, DSOs, and spectrum analyzers used in bench testing and evaluation of conversion architectures and components very important. Engineer will be responsible for developing hardware to support overall IEEE802.16 product and software development.
