The PacketWave^® base station radios are equipped with high performance sectored antennas to enable a sector reuse factor of 2. These antennas have reduced sidelobes and backlobes and are available in either 90 degrees / 4-sectors or 60 degrees / 6-sectors configurations. Using these antennas, Aperto^® is able to implement either 4-sector or 6-sector cells with only two frequency channels.
