Automatic Frequency Selection
Automatic Frequency Selection enables the system to automatically change channels, if the link conditions in the current channel are not good enough to sustain a reliable connection. The operator enters a list of available channels while configuring the system. The PW620 continuously monitors the state of the link, and it automatically changes channels when it detects a degradation in link quality.

Note that due to Aperto’s 6 MHz channel size, up to 20 channels are available in the 5.8 GHz ISM band. All of these channels can be configured to be used in the Automatic Frequency Selection algorithm.
